Few experiences are as special as camp, where kids have fun while building confidence, developing new skills, making new friends and creating their own community. At the B.R. Ryall YMCA, we provide a safe, affordable and fun summer day camp program for youth and teens to grow and thrive in a positive environment.
Each camp we offer is age-specific to ensure there are appropriate activities and expectations for your camper. Weekly themes are incorporated into outdoor games, sports, crafts, songs and enrichment activities. Swimming, outings to local parks and field trips round out each week to provide for an unforgettable experience.
Camps are based on what grade your child will enter for the ’22-’23 school year.
ABOUT OUR STAFF
Our trained camp counselors are key to our success–fostering a sense of belonging and delivering fun experiences that keep families coming back year after year. That’s why we take such pride in hiring camp staff who are responsible, mature, considerate, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.
Your child’s safety is the number one priority. Each counselor completes a series of trainings, including: bullying, abuse prevention, pool safety, emergency procedures, bloodborne pathogens and implementation of age-appropriate games and activities. In addition, all staff hold First Aid and CPR certifications.
