Preschool

Preschool

At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. That’s why our Bright Beginnings Preschool is staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of young kids, the need children have to feel connected and supported in trying new things, and the caring and reinforcement parents and families need to help each other.

The foundation of our curriculum is the building of relationships and secure bonds. Each classroom’s schedule allows for an equal amount of activity and rest, as well as for indoor and outdoor activities. Our teachers take into account every child’s developmental history, family home values, beliefs, experiences, religion and language, and adapt their teaching methods accordingly.
