Senior Home Sharing Informational Seminar
For over 40 years Senior Home Sharing has been providing shared family style housing for independent seniors living on a low or fixed income. They offer two local homes with 7-8 residents in each. Each home has a house manager attending to a resident’s every need along with a Residential Life Coordinator planning activities and helping residents problem solve and coordinate care, as live evolves.
In 2021 Senior Home Sharing launched its new counseling program, offering in-home senior counseling within their homes and throughout DuPage County. They have licensed counselors who can visit on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, helping individuals deal with life’s challenges.
Most recently they established a roommate matching program for those who want to stay in their homes with individuals looking for a place to live.
