Full-Day Sports Camps
Future Stars Sports Camp (Grades 3-6)
Spend your day in a safe, fun and active environment. With a focus on personal and team achievement, all activities are conducted in age-appropriate groups. In addition to teaching sports, sportsmanship, character values, and social awareness, fitness and nutrition are also incorporated. Some activities we play are football, soccer, volleyball and basketball, as well as some non-traditional sports like kickball and capture the flag. With walking trips to local parks, swimming and rock climbing at the Y, this camp provides a unique and active day for all participants.

Mount Ryall Climbing Camp (Grades 4-8)
Learn proper climbing techniques, and safety awareness in a controlled and fun atmosphere. This five-day camp begins indoors on the Y's 22ft. wall called Mount Ryall, and then travels to other safe climbing facilities across the Chicagoland area. Campers will also enjoy daily swimming and nutritional snacks. Campers end this camp with a solid understanding of what is takes to be a safe climber.

Horsemanship Camp (Ages 8+)
Do you have a horse lover in your house? This is the camp for them! Campers age 8 and older will engage in a fun, safe and hands-on experience learning all facets of horsemenship. Campers will ride, learn about safety, proper horse care and horse behavior, as well as participate in the daily chores of a stable. They will also enjoy demos, crafts, games and more.
The B.R. Ryall YMCA is partnering with Fox Meadow Farms to provide beginning horse lovers with this exciting opportunity. Fox Meadow Farms is located in Naperville and sits on more than 50 acres of sprawling green pastures. They have been in business for over 25 years. The Fox Meadow Farm staff is professional, caring and experienced.
Campers will be dropped-off and picked-up at the Y. They will spend the first part of their day at the stables, 9:00am - 1:00pm, and finish up in the afternoon with more fun and games and the Y.
Make sure to pack a lunch Monday - Wednesday, and Thursday we will have a pizza party.
Long pants and shoes with a heel must be worn everyday. Helmets will be provided.
There are only 8 spots open in each session so make sure to register early to reserve your spot. This is a camp you won't want to miss.
